• Hi LoraLea
  Today I was wandering around and thinking "Is there anything I would change?"  And truly, there is nothing. I have lots of space
  in the cupboards, I really find the varying heights of the counters useful, and I like the finish on the plastic laminate that makes it 
  easier to clean.  
  Also, I asked "What did LoraLea suggest that I would not have thought of?"  This answer is not "nothing." Some of the things
  that you recommended that I really enjoy are the -
  1. trash and recycling drawer
  2. full extension drawers
  3. corner drawer bank with drawers that go on forever
  4. baking pan cupboard
  5. undermount sink
  6. corian edge around the dishwashing area
  7. style of doors that suits the hickory
  8. oak rope trim that picks up the color of the stair rail
  9. light valance
  10. taller cupboard for the end units, and 
  11. all the bottom drawers with no false door fronts.
  
  Even talking me out of some things that I do not miss like the appliance center, the shelf that brings the mixer up to counter
  height, and the 'tip out drawer' in front of the sink to hold grungy things like scouring pads and ??? took talent and helped get
  us a better bang for our buck. And all of this within the budget allotment. You are very talented, know your product and were

• Dear Lora Lea,
  We promised a few pics of the kitchen and here they are.  All finished except for some tile which we are having trouble finding something we like at a reasonable price.
  Thanks to Lyle, Daryl and yourself for a great job.  You all took the extra time to help with our decisions, offer suggestions and
  listen to what we wanted, which no one seemed interested in doing, and we appreciated that.
  We would like to get a little bit of the stain for future; I'll stop by one day when I can get in. Best wishes in 2007.
